Information we collect
Job seekers may give us an email address and job preferences when they create a job alert.
Employers may give us account details, ranch details, job content, contact details, and payment-related order information.
Candidates who create a listing give us profile details they choose to publish, such as a display name, roles, experience, home state, and availability, plus a private contact email and optional phone number.
The site may collect technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs. We use it for security, debugging, and site operation.
When you browse, the site sets a first-party session cookie. It holds random visitor and session IDs and short source labels from the first page you open in that visit, such as a campaign tag or the name of the website that linked to us. We record visits, job views, apply-link clicks, job alert signups, and employer steps against those IDs.
If you sign in, we link your account to that visit so we can tell staff and test activity apart from real use.
These measurement records do not include your IP address, your email address, full web addresses of the pages that linked to us, or the contents of any application.
How we use information
We use job seeker email addresses and preferences to send job alerts and to manage confirmation and unsubscribe links.
We use employer and job information to create accounts, review jobs, publish approved jobs, process orders, and communicate about submissions.
We review candidate profiles before listing them. A listed profile is public and may appear in search engines, but its email and phone are not. We show those only to the candidate, our staff, and signed-in employers with a published ranch profile, and only while the listing is live. We do not add candidates to marketing lists because they bought a listing.
We use technical information to keep the site working, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and check that public pages work.
We use measurement records to count how people find the site and how jobs perform. We keep these counts ourselves and do not send them to an analytics service.
Payments and third parties
Paid packages and candidate listings use Stripe-hosted checkout. GuestRanchJobs.com does not store full payment card numbers.
Third-party service providers may help with email delivery, hosting, analytics, spam prevention, and payment processing. They process information only as needed to provide those services.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from job alerts with the unsubscribe link in any job alert email.
Candidates can withdraw a listing at any time from their candidate workspace. It stops appearing publicly right away, and employers can no longer see its contact details.
To correct or delete your information, email hello@guestranchjobs.com. We may keep some records when needed for security, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
